How do you make change? If you are thinking in terms of a dollar bill your answer is probably like everyone else’s. You make change out of a dollar by breaking it.
The same holds true for those of us in the Body of Christ. In order for us to be changed, we must be broken.
Throughout the last 17 teachings (18 when you include ‘Winning through Worship‘) we have addressed the Postures needed in order for us as One Body, united in One Faith through One Name, to pray with power and authority by Faith and Wisdom.
We began by asking the introspective question:
- When you approach Yeshua Jesus in prayer, are you being guided by “Fear” or“Faith,” “Worry” or “Wisdom”?
In order for us to be effective witnesses in a world in need of the free gift of salvation, we must be able to pray and move with power and authority, operating through prayers prayed with Faith and Wisdom.
For most of us…all of us, on whatever level or place we are in our faith walks, to pray with Faith and Wisdom requires a repentant/changed mind, and a changed heart.
Maybe we need a change in how we see the Body of Christ. Are we still throwing up dividing walls because of theological differences and traditions? Are we cutting off our brothers and sisters because they are of a different denomination even if they still believe the truth of Yeshua Jesus and what He says about sin and salvation?
For some of us it may be that denomination is not so much the issue, nor traditions. Maybe we have a subconscious prejudice towards our brother or sister because of the color of their skin. Or maybe the prejudice is not subconscious at all.
Maybe you, like all of us, are dealing with some degree of fear and worry that is polluting how you approach your Lord and Savior and how you pray.
Whatever it is, whatever category you fall in, we all need change.
Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes’? “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”~MATTHEW 21:42-44
Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.” Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,”~ I PETER 2:6-8
Change doesn’t always come easy, but it is worth it and possible to those who are willing. If you accept the Call, to allow Yeshua Jesus to use you as a thread to bind the Body back together again, to use you as a light in our dying nation and the world, know that there will be some breaking; breaking of old habits, old thoughts, old beliefs, old ways.
But it is worth it to be broken upon the Rock, Yeshua Jesus, Who was lovingly offered up for us.
For Change, we all must fall on Yeshua Jesus. To pray with Faith and Wisdom, we must fall on Yeshua Jesus.
What is the next step in all of this?
- Remember that it was/is His good pleasure to have adopted and redeemed you. (EPHESIANS 1:2-5)
- Remember because of Yeshua Jesus and His work alone, you are Justified for He bore all of your punishment on the Cross (ROMANS 5:7-18)
- Remember because of Yeshua Jesus you perfectly forgiven and are no longer under condemnation. EVER. And now have no need to fear because fear has to deal with punishment (ROMANS 8:1) (I JOHN 4:17-19)
- Therefore you are made able to do with confidence what He has called you to do; love, pray, believe. And you can pray with confidence, power, authority, wisdom, and faith, because He does not withhold any good thing from you, nor does He bring any judgment against you (ROMANS 8:31-39)
- And you can have greater faith knowing your prayers avail much because you are His righteousness and He hears you (II CORINTHIANS 5:21, JAMES 5:16)
Where your change comes from
So we say with confidence (boldly), “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”~HEBREWS 13:6
When you become firmly established in your place, position, and posture in Yeshua Jesus, that you are One in a Body of many, that you are a saint and royal priest (I PETER 2:9), that you have been perfectly forgiven because you are perfectly loved you are able to pray with power, authority, faith, and wisdom.
You are made effective to the changing of the world through trusting faith in what He has made of you and says about you. When we rest in Him and trust Him to change our willing hearts is when we see change not only in our lives but in the lives of those around us.
This requires us to grow deeper in His Word and thusly draw closer to Him, making Him center and above all other things in our lives (MATTHEW 6:26-34).
This is the change and through it comes the revelation power to abide in His love and to love others and do His perfect will with confidence.
I pray that you go forth to be the salt and light in this nation and world, that you do so in love with the support of the Body of Christ and supporting the Body and that your every prayer from this moment forward be rooted in a posture of Faith and Wisdom because you know who you are, you know Whose you are, and you know that you were called for such a time as this!

In Him Always!
